Another successful shopping trip at H&M. Everything except for my sequin jacket is from the Sonia Rykiel collection. All the sparkle makes me happy, they're deflecting winter weather.

SHORT OF BREATH.. OH PORTS 1961

On May 18, 2009 I posted about how happy I was to have my first Ports 1961 dress. I love Ports 1961, the clothes are beautiful, unique, and modern. I was so happy to see this post the next day.. I had a feeling Tony was involved with Ports but I wasn't sure. I always wondered until today.

I bought the March Harper's Bazaar today. Flipping through it on the streetcar, I see saw this Style Diary feature which had fun designer socials from the last few months. Of course Ports 1961 caught my eye.. I love designer Tia's red tweed jacket.

Who's that gentleman in the middle?? Tony Alcindor, VP Public Relations & Marketing!?! Same guy? In PR.. mos def.. right? Amazing..

MY PARIS FASHION DAY

Tried on almost everything from the Sonia Rykiel collection.. Enjoyed every minute of it. I had a tough time deciding, and right after I had made up my mind, a sold out item was hanging on an empty rack.. In my size.. Karma? Well someone had just returned it but I feel very lucky :D

POUR MOI

Yesterday Sonia Rykiel's collection for H&M launched. I had school so I couldn't go, but I called this morning and they still have lots of merch (they say)!! I'm SO stoked, I never thought I would own Sonia Rykiel, which is what I have been saying about all the others but it's just so exciting for me. Living in Toronto you have soo many opportunities you don't get living in other parts of Canada (eh hem Saskatchewan), so when events like this happen I am ever so appreciative.

I love Nicole Richie.
So much when my boyfriend wanted to buy me jewelry for valentine's day, I knew which House of Harlow pieces I wanted. Funny timing too, Nicole is has a large magazine presence in the March issues with her new clothing line Winter Kate. From what I see the clothes are soo vibey too..
