BUILDING OUR BABY BOY'S WARDROBE

One of the reasons we wanted to find out the gender of our baby was to be more prepared for his arrival. Now that we know we are having a boy we can start to build his wardrobe accordingly. I had to have two ultrasounds around week 20 and 21 so it has been confidently confirmed twice that we are expecting a boy.

Outfit above from Baby Gap. Shirt below from Baby Gap and Jeans from Old Navy.

Both outfits were purchased from Old Navy.

We love stripes!

PREGNANCY DIARY: WEEK 23

23 weeks along this crazy ride called, Pregnancy. Within the last couple of weeks I have just started feeling our little man move around and kick which is the most incredible feeling. Just recently had my first week without any morning sickness!!! Cause for celebration now that I can roll out of bed and not experience the dizziness and hurdle of getting sick before or at work. I apparently was one of many women who experience morning sickness for 6 months of her pregnancy. Now on to bigger and better things! Now on agenda we are at the painting stage of putting together our nursery. We have finally chosen our colour of blue for the walls which we are painting this weekend, and after this phase we will start building and buying the last pieces of furniture.

First picture sent to us from my mom, she made a car seat cover!

SHOPPING AT THE CHILDREN'S PLACE

I am still shopping for myself here and there, recently I have added full length leggings and flowing tunics to my wardrobe. Or should I say Pregnancy wardrobe, because I have never wore leggings as pants until now. Recently I was in the mall and there was a lot of "mid/end of season" sales which made me wonder, what could I find for our little man? I haven't shopped at The Children's Place before, so I decided to check it out and I found a couple really cute Sleepers on sale.  Days later after scanning their website (which was having a 20% off sale), I found three more cute sleepers to add to our boy's wardrobe. All sleepwear is 100% cotton and very well priced. Thanks Children's Place!

Monster and Plane Sleepwear found in-store.

Guitars, Balloon Animals, and Space Sports patterned sleepwear is only available at The Children's Place web store, but all were on sale!

T-shirt below caught my eye on their website. The smallest size is 6-9 months so it will be awhile until our little man can wear it, if I do buy it.

IT'S A BOY!

I haven't written about this before but my husband and I are pregnant! We have been waiting 20-weeks now to tell people about our news. We waited 18-19 weeks to surprise our West Vancouver friends and family on our recent vacation, and then we thought, what's another week? This wait was to see if we could find out the gender of our babe. Now we know, it's a boy! Today after work I went to the mall and celebrated with a few clothing purchases for his wardrobe. Our little bundle of joy's due date is: November 25th, but we will see when it actually happens :)
