Garments of mine I plan to rock this Spring/Summer and their "dopplegangers" from the runway. The weather has taken a turn back to Winter weather recently, but I'm trying to remind myself I will be able to start wearing these pieces soon enough.

MY BEST FASHION MOMENTS OF 2012

This list doesn't account for all of my favourite fashion moments of 2012, but a great list of highlights pulled from my blog/journal.

January 2012

On Monday, January 23rd I was featured on CTV BC's Morning Show asking Randy Fenoli some Wedding Dress questions which also displayed a picture of me. Randy said any dress I wanted would look fabulous on me. With a comment like that, it was definitely a highlight of the year!

February 2012

On my birthday (February 5th) Nathan took me to Buffalo, NY so I could shop the Jason Wu for Target collaboration collection.

Also for my Birthday my bestie, Andrea had given me a Gift Card to one of our favourite stores, ZARA! I used the gift card to buy this incredible tweed jacket (below) that reminds me of both Chanel and Angel Food Birthday Cake!!

March 2012

March 8th I hunted my local H+M down in hopes of a piece of MARNI for H+M that I could own. This 100% silk blouse was a MAJOR score!

April 2012

I refreshed the denim in my wardrobe with 2 new pairs of Fidelity jeans, and my first pair of Franco Sarto leather footwear.

May 2012

For my Bachlorette and Wedding present my bridesmaids and best girlfriends took me to Las Vegas to have some fun. I can't decide which look here is my favourite. The 1st picture I'm rocking my new silk Marni x H&M, patterned skirt, and the 2nd is my H+M ikat maxi dress I wore Saturday night when I decided to get a new tattoo!

June 2012

Wearing my souvenir clock necklace I bought at Marie Antoinette's house in Versailles, France last Summer (2011). We went to Versailles the day after Nathan proposed to me under the Eiffel tower.

July 2012

Wearing a collection of my favourite pieces; my Kara Laricks (Fashion Star Winner) blouse I bought in Las Vegas!, patterned pants from Zara, my Franco Sarto Sandals, and my Longchamp purse!!

August 2012

As our Wedding approached Nathan and I treated each other to some gifts. Here are a few Coach handbags my babe gave to me. 

September 2012

September 1, 2012 I married my best friend and long time lover (9 years dating) and couldn't be a happier woman. Our Wedding was perfection and I'm so happy with my Wedding Dress and Bridesmaid dresses I choose for the big day. 

October 2012

Early October I was blessed to score a few bracelets from Anna Dello Russo's collaboration for H+M. It was a popular collaboration and I was worried I wouldn't get any pieces I liked by the time I'd get to the store so, my friend Andrea came through for me and picked up what I wanted during the morning rush. LOVE...

November 2012

Not being able to attend the opening of Maison Martin Margiela for H+M's collaboration, I stopped by my local store at lunch and managed to buy this dramatic red dress.

December 2012

Honestly the best day, Christmas Day! Nathan and I had a lot of fun shopping, wrapping and giving each others presents to one another. I am a very lucky girl.

WEDDING JOURNEY: WHAT I BOUGHT!

Above: I was super excited to wear my new sapphire blue, pepper patterned mullet dress that I found in China town recently, when I was shopping with my parents :)

Below: A new Kersh top I found at the mall in Saskatoon! LOVE the roses. Roses remind me of; Paris, Marie Antoinette, and our Wedding flowers.

LOVE my new Coach Legacy Penny Handbag my then Fiance, now Husband gave me at home in Toronto, the day before we flew off to Saskatoon! 

Above: Kara Laricks top I bought on my Bachlorette trip in Vegas (May 2012). Flats purchased in Spring 2012 at Aldo for strictly work purposes. Now that they are broken in and I need better Fall footwear attire, these flats were great shoes to have around for our trip. I bought new lavender paisley pyjamas at Wal-mart while we were in Waterton/Pincher Creek area. 

On our 1 week Wedding Anniversary I bought this know ring by a local Waterton artist, Daniel Sommerset. We tied the knot so I thought this was a great souvenir of our honeymoon. There is also nothing wrong with supporting local artists too! 

When flew out of Saskatoon so after spending a day driving back I treated myself to a small American Eagle Outfitters shopping spree. During the Wedding week a girlfriend had bought a very nice Infinity scarf from AEO so I wanted to do the same. I ended up buying 2 Infinity Scarves and a new Blouse. Sigh.

I was also excited to come home to some more of my recent Fall 2012/2013 purchases, like these ankle boots from Aldo.
