This year I bought this great Halloween decoration at the dollar store. My candy of choice to hand out were starburst and skittles! I didn't really dress up I have been so busy with my new job, but I did buy some fun glasses. Love my poke face..

ELLE NOVEMBER

I picked up the November (American) ELLE. Here are a few of my favourite pages from the issue. Surprised Kate's styled with more of a Spring/Summer feel than Fall/Winter for the November issue. It would have been interesting to see Kate Hudson rock a "lady-like" inspired outfit. Military inspired, shearling, displaying some of the current trends in fashion. Love the cover but seasonally feels off. I like the look and sound of ELLE's ELLEMENTS of PERSONAL STYLE book. I love fashion and individual style, having this coffee table is definitely on my Christmas list.

I had to take a picture and not Jimmy Choo for Ugg collaboration. Lots of conversation of this people deciding yes or no. I'm not a big fan off Ugg's to begin with but I did see a pair online I would actually wear, the SORA design in Chestnut colour.. I wanted to note the editorial on grab bags because when I'm not running to and from work this is definitely the style of purse for me, evenings and weekends.

An article on Erin Fetherston taking over the head design role for Juicy Couture. A turn of event I was so happy to hear after I returned from NYC in July. I love Erin Fetherston's romantic, fairy aesthetic and can't wait to see how she evolves the Juicy Couture brand.

Fur, faux fur has been a huge trend this Fall/Winter and loved the editorial shot exploring the different pieces of clothing you can buy or be inspired by. I'm not a fur lover although I have seen a few vests that appeal to me, but fur purses however is still all the rage for me :)

FOOD (JEWELRY) FOR THOUGHT

Now that I have pictures of both necklaces I bought off a street vendor in SOHO, NYC. When I was visiting in NYC on day 2 the pretzel necklace caught my eye. I thought it was a cool NYC charm. When I went the next day to swoop it up, I saw the Chinese fortune cookie, and I thought that was a cute boyfriend charm for me because my bf is half Chinese and I have always been obsessed with fortune cookie since I was a kid.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!

Today is my boyfriends birthday, and although I try to respect his privacy and keep our relationship to ourselves, this is my ode to him on his very special day. Nathan choose his/our favourite Italian restaurant in Toronto, Terroni. Gift tbd, I have been so busy switching jobs (today was day 2!!!) I haven't had the time to go looking for the perfect thing. This weekend, major spoiling is in order :)

TORONTO FASHION WEEK: SEARS SURPRISE

Last year Attitude by Sears had it's first show at LG (Toronto) Fashion Week and it knocked most peoples socks off. This year I was excited to see how strong the collection was going to be. There were a few pieces that I filed in my fashion brain cabinet, but I absolutely gasped when I saw this dress. Or maybe it's actually denim blouse and long denim skirt.. Either way they are completely affordable pieces and something I could definitely see myself wearing a lot from Spring to Fall next year :)

SOUL SISTER: CHLOE FALL 2010 RTW

As the weather starts to drop and I feel the need to buy sweaters, jackets, I think of Chloe Fall 2010 collection. Camels, tans, I would add black, cream, khaki, and mix grey, for more "me." I love the looks that can be achieved staying in a soft and simple colour story. Looks so city chic. For me :)

NOVEMBER LOULOU

Amazing finds and editorial in the November issue of LouLou Magazine. It's a high recommend. I must find that double finger feather ring, it's amazing! It's my kind of cocktail ring haha :D

Plaid eyeshadows at MAC. Clever :)

Christian Siriano's shoes and handbag look amazing in these shots. Would really like to see them face 2 face.. I haven't been to Payless in forever.. Not since I bought these orange sandals last summer. Second pic; LOVE that styled look. Blouse $30 at H&M!! My best friend Meghan is looking for pleather shorts to rock this kinda look.. That cuff is also a must have piece.

Lady-like pieces are hot right now, and I'm totally diggin' them. I'm inspired by the Louis Vuitton 2010 Fall RTW.

Chanel has been amping their game in the nail sector. Consistently putting out and getting a lot of press on their on-trend, unique colours. That essie shade "British Merino" is just fabulous..

With 12 days to go until we can preview the entire Lanvin X H&M collection, yesterday and today these pictures were released. First teaser videos, now teaser ad campaign. brilliant! H&M is definitely using the internet and social media to it's full potential, it's so much fun sharing and chatting about these looks.

TORONTO FASHION WEEK: JOE FRESH STYLE

One of the main attractions of Toronto Fashion Week is the Joe Fresh show. Every year it gets crazier and crazier. They must have exhausted all their celebrity pull for the grand opening of their first stand alone store in Vancouver because I didn't see as many TV personalities as we usually do. Celebs don't matter this collection was the biggest star! So many pieces I would love to buy, here are a few of my favourite from the show.
