BALLERINA FLATS ON MY MIND...

I tend to rely on ALDO shoes for my shoe fix for two reasons. One because when I love a pair of shoes I wear them all the time and living in the city walking everywhere, rarely driving they don't last that long. 3-12 months depending on the shoe, how often I wear them, and take care of them.. Second reasons is because they have fantastic, fresh designs at decent prices. Here are four designs I want-want-want!
Two for day, two for evenings..

These two "evening" ballerina flats below may be good wedding shoe options too. I have a pair of heels for our big day, but I also want to have a pair of flats just in case or for certain parts like taking pictures on grass and such ;)

THE IPHONE 4S IS MINE!

For over the last year or so I have been waiting to upgrade my phone to the notorious iPhone. Recently I became eligible and last weekend before my fiance went away to London for business, he bought/upgraded my phone for my birthday present!!! A few weeks before my birthday but it was great to geek-out, get comfortable and settings setup to my preferences while my love was out of town.

Now I'm shopping for an iPhone case to protect my pocket genius. Zazzle.ca has hundreds of covers to choose from and you can also customize almost anything you want, if not everything.. Here are some of Zazzle's options that are sitting in my wishlist.

MORE ABOUT MARNI FOR H&M!

I didn't think the MARNI for H&M collaboration could get anymore exciting, but then I heard Sofia Coppola is behind the collections marketing campaign!!! I'm such a fan of Sofia Coppola's AND Consuelo Castiglioni, the founder and designer of MARNI who created the label in 1994 without any prior fashion design education! I note this as importance to myself because I started out in the Advertising & Communications industry over 5 years ago without any previous education in the field either. Risks are worth taking... On that note still considering waiting in line all night to get my hands on my favourite pieces from this collaboration. I have to look into a wireless charger so my iPhone (oh yes - I just got an iPhone!) is available for entertainment the whole time.

RANDY FENOLI GIVES ME ADVICE!!!

You maybe familiar with Randy Fenoli if you watch the TV show, Say Yes To The Dress. Randy is the Fashion Director at Kleinfeld Bridal and has major design school and experience. He was a bridal dress designer before he became Fashion Director at Kleinfeld's! Randy is currently doing a press tour because he released a book, "It's All About the Dress." The book offers women savvy secrets, priceless advice, and Inspiring Stories to help them find "THE ONE."

This morning the following interview aired which included yours truly!!! 6 minutes into this (8 minute) video, you will witness Randy Fenoli providing me with some dress shopping advice in response to the picture and questions I submitted to Norma Reid at CTV BC. Love, love, love the advice Randy provided!!! Randy's response to me (and others) was to not focus on finding the best dress shape that suits my body type but, to define 'Our Brand' and pick a dress based on the statement I want it to make about my fiance and I as a couple.

Thanks a million Randy!!! I will always be a fan forever, and also promise with sugar on top to buy your book asap. Maybe when Randy finally makes it to Toronto on his book tour (not on his Canadian schedule yet but in the works), I wil have a chance to see him at one of his stops and my copy of his book signed! It could happen :)

MY JASON WU X TARGET PICKS!

I really wish Target had their Canadian stores open already. The lady-like known designer, Jason Wu's capsule collection for Target is in stores February 5th! Exact same date as my birthday!! Is it meant to be? Road trip to Buffalo would be fun. The two tops below and accessories are my absolute favourite, favourite pieces from the collection. Would be fab to own and wear Jason Wu designs...
