ZORRO IN ZARA

Friday a girlfriend and I checked out a few stores before we headed off to our friends bbq party. I spotted this amazing jacket at Zara. Not a necessity right now but very, very dreamy.. Found a couple of great tee's instead, that I can wear in this hot, humid weather. I would love to rock that jacket with the blue and white striped shirt I bought and jeans :) And on top of all this excitement, I 'jousted' someone in Fousquare and became the Mayor of Zara at the Toronto Eaton Centre!!! I will have to keep going back to maintain my honor :)

Oh what's that a Barista Badge?!? Oh ya, got that today after checking into my 5th Starbucks location.

STELLA AS ALWAYS

Stella McCartney has definitely defined herself as a designer. I love the way she plays with shapes and fabrics. She simple yet modern and innovative, my kind of girl. These are my favourite looks from Stella's 2011 Resort collection.

MEMORABLE 2

A memorable wedding deserves a memorable designer fashion post to follow it. I recently checked out Balenciaga's Resort collection, and it's eccentric :) I get a very 60/70's Bohemian meets intergalactic. I also love the patterns and colors, I wonder what the fabric is? Oh I would love to try one of these outfits on :D

WHAT A BEAUTY

Well yesterday was my friend Sarah's wedding, and it was AMAZING. Beautiful and touching ceremony, followed by the best reception, full of great speeches, people, and food :)











My boyfriend was so awesome, and supportive, he was the best 'PA'. ox

WHAT I'M READING

I received Zink Canada and Flare July issues today!! Can't wait to re-paint my nails with my Revlon mint colour (again), in preparation for my friend Sarah's wedding tomorrow :D and catch up on some reading.



I did skim through Flare on my streetcar home from work and noticed a feature on Yvan Rodic a traveling photographer who's street style book I took a picture of (loved the cover lol), less than a week ago!



I also had to note the Chanel ad on the back of Flare, very Femme Fatale. Unfortunately makes me think of Fall while we're approaching Summer, what's up with that? I would love to see more prairie inspired pictures with the Spring 2010 collection.. I bought that purse inspired by that collection.

THE NATIONAL

Wednesday night my boyfriend and I went to see The National :) We saw them at one of our favourite Toronto venues, Massey Hall. The show was unbelievable. The band was amazing, it sounded incredible in the auditorium, the lighting was sexy, and the lead singer Matt Beringer was really in to the crowd and even walked across our seats!

STUDY

I'm thinking about building ads for my blog. There is a lot that inspires me, but who am I? What do I want to portray? I tore out a few pictures that I liked the composition of, and model's pose..
I need all the help I can get ;)

SUNDAY ELLE PICKUP

Today my boyfriend and I cruised around our neighbourhood. We went to the farmer's market, Blockbuster, the Pet Store, and Starbucks. When we got home, we suntanned on our rooftop patio :)
