SHOPPING AT THE CHILDREN'S PLACE

I am still shopping for myself here and there, recently I have added full length leggings and flowing tunics to my wardrobe. Or should I say Pregnancy wardrobe, because I have never wore leggings as pants until now. Recently I was in the mall and there was a lot of "mid/end of season" sales which made me wonder, what could I find for our little man? I haven't shopped at The Children's Place before, so I decided to check it out and I found a couple really cute Sleepers on sale.  Days later after scanning their website (which was having a 20% off sale), I found three more cute sleepers to add to our boy's wardrobe. All sleepwear is 100% cotton and very well priced. Thanks Children's Place!

Monster and Plane Sleepwear found in-store.

Guitars, Balloon Animals, and Space Sports patterned sleepwear is only available at The Children's Place web store, but all were on sale!

T-shirt below caught my eye on their website. The smallest size is 6-9 months so it will be awhile until our little man can wear it, if I do buy it.

2 SASK GIRLS HANGING IN TORONTO

Before we left for Vancouver my best friend, Meghan came to Toronto for work. It was great to hang with her every evening after work. Our week was full of dinners, events, and of course, shopping!

At the Kevin Kwan's "Crazy Rich Asian" book celebrated hosted by, Random House, Chatelaine and FLARE magazine. Location; Shangri-La Hotel.

Picture below of Toronto's City Hall. The view from Meghan's room.

One day after work we enjoyed some sun on the rooftop patio.

We celebrated our week of being re-united with the purchases of Michael Kors watches we have been coveting.

My Michael Kors watch.

Brunch before taking Meghan to the airport.

OUR VANCOUVER VACATION

We didn't announce our pregnancy to friends and family publically for quite sometime, because we wanted to surprise our friends and family who live in Vancouver. We had a vacation booked for the beginning of July and managed to keep it a secret until we arrived. Here are a few pictures from my iPhone I took for my journal/blog.

Hello Vancouver!

Surprising my friend, Norma.

Hiking with family.

Our friends Scott & Tanya are pregnant, and only 2-weeks ahead/apart from us!

Went to visit my Uncle and Auntie at their resort by Cultus Lake.

Last night in Vancouver. Saying goodbye to Norma.

Until next time Vancouver!

BABY'S ROOM COLOUR DECISION

I'm really torn! Nathan is onboard with both of these colours I have chosen for our baby boy's room, but I'm having a hard time deciding which one. After vetting several different blue, blue-green colours from my favourite paint line, CIL - I have narrowed my favourite wall colours to Hidden Harbor and Big Sea. Hidden Harbor is a great blue colour and seems to be the favourite amongst my friends and colleagues, but Big Sea is a wonderful happy colour that won't be too matchy-matchy with the two National Geographic maps we are hanging as artwork in the room.

After using CIL's virtual painter online and looking at the colours in various bedrooms to get an idea for the colours on a larger scale. Using the virtual painter was really helpful vetting my colours, but now that I'm down to my two favourite colours.

PLANNING OUR NURSERY ROOM

Our second bedroom has acted as a storage room since we bought our place 5 years ago. There is very little storage in Toronto condo's and our place didn't come with a locker in the parkade. We have been spending our free weekends cleaning out the room and we are finally getting close to converting the room into our baby's room. After today we should be in excellent shape to paint next, which I'm really excited about. After painting it will be great to start setting up our son's bedroom.

BABY AND I WENT TO SEE JAY-Z AND J.T.

Through work I was invited to the recent Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake concert, "Legends of the Summer" concert. I'm a huge Jay-Z fan so was thrilled to attend and in the spirit of exposing my un-born baby to music, I was excited he was there to experience it as well. Since I have been pregnant I have been to a few concerts but our baby's ears are even more developed now...
