PLEASE USE NOTABLE TALENT

I'm almost finished reading the Overnight Socialite. It is a really good book, I could definitely see it on the big screen. It's an exciting and fun story about Lucy Jo making it as a fashion designer in the big apple.
There are talks of turning this book into a film. After you read it I think you would agree with me that one of the best casting options for the main characters; Lucy and Eloise would be Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt. Anne playing the female lead Lucy, and Emily playing the successful Stylist that becomes one of Lucy's lifesavers and confidants. I don't care if casting Anne and Emily from one fashion story (Devil Wears Prada) to another (the Overnight Socialite) may be a faux pas, they have the talent and personalities best suited for these two characters.

I just tweeted my opinion to both Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, hopefully that helps ;)

MY TRAVELING BAND

Tomorrow I fly back home to celebrate Christmas with my family. I can't wait! I'm starting to organize everything I need, and all I can say is my purse is going to be pretty heavy.

WEEKEND UPDATE

I love these bow stud earrings they have become a signature piece to my everyday wardrobe. I never usually win contests or draws, so after I won For The Love Of Flowers necklace from Elizaveta aka Kameleon I felt it broke my curse. I have to check the mail today, I have a good feeling it's there for me, yay! My best friend sent me the multi-chain necklace. It's awesome, I can know or just let hang, it's a great conversation piece and compliments my earrings perfectly. I just received the Overnight Socialite and can't wait to read it. I definitely need to save it for my holiday travels back home. In the meantime I'm going to rent My Fair Lady and get familiar with the cult classic.

HOT OFF THE PRESS: THE OVERNIGHT SOCIALITE

I read a small description about this book, the Overnight Socialite in December's VOGUE. It sounds like a fun read, it's a modern version of My Fair Lady, and it's so well written it's already being discussed for a movie!
From what dates I can find I'm hoping to purchase it on December 16th.. Seems like the perfect read for holiday flying.
