PREGNANCY DIARY: WEEK 27

Here we are at week 27. Next week is the start of my third trimester of this crazy thing they call Pregnancy. For the last few weeks we have been able to feel and see our little boy kicking. Feeling him move around throughout the day is the best feeling.

MATERNITY WEAR DIARIES

Even before I was pregnant I purchase the oversized chiffon plaid blouse pictured below. I was inspired by my favourite parisian fashion blogger, Denni from ChicMuse who was wearing an oversized black and white vertical striped blouse from American Apparel in a post on her blog. Now that I'm pregnant and my belly is growing larger every week this chiffon blouse has become a much needed staple in my wardrobe, more than I thought when I was initially purchasing it. Now that I'm starting the third trimester of my pregnancy and my tummy is expected to double or almost double in size, this top may just be large enough to wear until the end. 

With the potential of longevity and enjoying the style of this American Apparel blouse I purchased it in the colours, Port and Blush today. They may not be colour appropriate for my "Spring" skin tone, but they have a romantic feel to them and the colours are great for Fall. Now I just need to pick-up some tank tops that will go well underneath and fit over my expanding belly.

SPRING 2013 RTW DESIGNER INSPIRATION

Garments of mine I plan to rock this Spring/Summer and their "dopplegangers" from the runway. The weather has taken a turn back to Winter weather recently, but I'm trying to remind myself I will be able to start wearing these pieces soon enough.

LIGHT + LOOSE W/ AMERICAN APPAREL

I'm a huge fan of Model and Blogger, Denni Elias of Chicmuse. When I first started following her Parisian style blog she had been modelling for American Apparel and in between her street style posts also including what she had been up to with American Apparel. I was cruising through Denni's blog and noticed one of her outfit posts she was wearing a light and loose, sexy look from American Apparel. Denni's chic black and white look inspired me to check out AA's current selection online, and I found a few light and loose garments that I really want to rock too.

OUR ANTIGUA ADVENTURES!!!

In addition to spa treatments at the resort we also adventured out to experience Antigua while we were there. More pictures and activities to come.

We were shown Eric Clapton's home in Antigua. He also owns a rehabilitation centre in Antigua called, Crossroads.

On Sunday night we went to the traditional celebration at Shirley Height's where a live steel band and dancing was accented with good food and alcohol.

The next day...

We saw this old Sugar Cane factory relic on our, ATV Adventure.

MY BACHLORETTE IN LAS VEGAS!

Last weekend at this time I was sitting by the pool (covered in SPF - thank you Meghan!), enjoying our view of the Eiffel Tower, eating and drinking water and Corona's :) 

Fun night... When Sarah, Andrea, and I arrived from Toronto, Meghan, Tracey and Norma picked us up in a Limo with a bottle of Champagne! We stayed at Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino while we were in Las Vegas. I enjoyed the pool (#1!), the Cafe Restaurant options, and fun gift shopping ;)
