MY BADGLEY MISCHKA WEDDING SHOES!!!

I have been so busy with work, friends, and planning our wedding, I haven't had much time to post about, well anything... I started this journal to record my interests overtime and now that I am getting married is the most important time I should be updating my blog... sheesh.. The current (quick) update is; location decided (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), date picked! (September 1st, 2012), venue booked (Sheraton Cavalier Hotel), colours decided (Ivory and Sapphire/Royal Blue), I have also found the perfect dress (I wish I could post a pic but, no can do..), last week I feel in love with the perfect shoes and today unveiling my latest purchase! I have always been a fan of Mark Badgley and James Mischka design aesthetic, the beautiful drama they always unveil with their garments is breath-taking, just like these/my stunning wedding shoes...

SAILING INTO FALL 2011 WITH PORTS 1961

Today is both the second day of Fall and the start to my weekend. I'm getting inspired for the brisk temperature's ahead by going through my favourite Fall 2011 collections. I start off with the brand that is closest to my heart of any other, Ports 1961. I have been inspired by Ports 1961 since I was a young girl, it was Ports' captivating ads in fashion magazines that caught my attention. Since then I have always been a huge fan of their classic and structured pieces and worldly-influenced aesthetic that evolves each season. I was able to buy my very own Ports 1961 dress in May of 2009 (look HERE) I still wear today, and hope to have forever.

COLDPLAY LIVE AT MUCH

Last night I was lucky enough to attend Coldplay's live performance at Canada's MuchMusic headquarters here in Toronto. MUCH had turned their parking lot into an outdoor concert venue, also closed down a portion of Queen street so everyone could take in the show even if you didn't have a wrist band. For a jam-packed parking lot I ended up snagging a great viewing spot with friends. It was an incredible show, I will never forget it.
