SPOILED ROTTEN
This is a picture of someone who is spoiled rotten! :D I had 2 amazing birthday parties, one on Thursday with my work family and friends, and last one on my birthday day with all of my closest friends outside of the work arena. It was a casual affair, all about pulled pork (which my boyfriend made for the party), cake, champagne, and Wii games!! Turning our place into a bowling alley or golf course is one of my favourite activities (besides crafts and blogging :)) to do around the house. On top of my dear friends for coming over, they also brought presents!!! I honesty didn't expect any, but will love each treasure for the rest of my life - they all mean soo much.

THIS TIME LAST YEAR
Today is my birthday!!! I celebrated Thursday night with all my friends from the advertising industry I work in here. Tonight I'm having my closest friends (outside work) over for cake, champagne, music and Wii games :) I can't wait to wear my new bird patterned jumpsuit, but first I'm off to get a birthday Manicure-Pedicure! Here are some pictures from this time last year.
February 3rd I visited inside the Revlon Canada head office.

I completed a great Adobe InDesign course that I was sent to by my work. I haven't had a chance to use what I learned yet, but a friend has the Adobe software I can put on my computer so looks like my handouts and lesson we not a waste.
March issues drop in February so these are not Feb. issues but what I was reading days before my birthday last year.
LOVE these Derek Lam and Lanvin collections, looks, and ads. At that time last when I was drooling over this Lanvin ad, I wouldn't have predicted the Lanvin X H&M collaboration that happened in the Winter.
Love this Chloe inspired oversized dress shirt I found at H&M. Ad from the magazines I was looking through at that time.
For my birthday last year my boyfriend and I went to the spa for a couples massage, lunch, and a relaxing soak. Outfit last year; cute top with designer Marni attire look-a-like girl with puffy shoulders, black pencil skirt, red velvet wedges, and my Jimmy Choo for H&M purse :D
My friend Andrea gave me the cutest Nautical inspired gift. Cutest tank top and re-usable bag.
The morning after my birthday party, I went to my favourite gallery, Thrush Holmes Empire. While on our walk I feel in love with these chandeliers at Industrial storm.

MY MAGAZINE, MOVIE, AND BOOK COLLECTIONS
Ever since I was a little girl I would flip the pages of fashion magazines and dream about modeling and living in the big city! My obsession with fashion magazines has definitely increased from then, but there are soo many great publications. Now with Social media; Facebook Fan Pages, Twitter, Blogs - I love getting to know and communicate with the individuals and celebs (from around the world) who bring me so much joy and inspiration!
Magazines are great but I have a growing collection of Fashion and Art books. Majority coffee-table style, but I love flipping pages when I have any down time. This is only a small sample of the books I have. I will post about my others soon, just choose the books I have acquired recently, but I have some oldies that are goodies!! :) The next novel I really want to read (after I finish Front Row) is Blow by Blow the story of Isabella Blow. Came out right before Christmas but is very hard to find. Maybe I can convince someone to buy it for me on Amazon, my birthday is just days away.. LOL
I collect fashion films, my mom started a tradition a while back, buying me the new Sex and the City season every year for Christmas. This year she bought me Sex and the City 2 :). I have bought Coco Avant Chanel after being invited by Elle Canada to an exclusive preview, what a great love story. I'm obsessed with modern art, Factory Girl is a terrifying movie but feel like I have a little 70's New York artist vibe in me. So happy to collect The September issue, Grey Gardens, Devil Wears Prada, the list does go on.. Marie Antoinette I watch over and over, it didn't get the greatest reviews, but I don't care I loved Kirsten Dunst, the way Sofia Coppola brought the story to life, and of course the fashion and set designer are breath-taking!!!
