My girlfriend bought me this cool, multi-strand, gunmetal necklace - it's so rock n' roll. I have some great bracelets and rings that play off each other, so with a simple attire there are little accents of personality.

WEEKEND UPDATE

I love these bow stud earrings they have become a signature piece to my everyday wardrobe. I never usually win contests or draws, so after I won For The Love Of Flowers necklace from Elizaveta aka Kameleon I felt it broke my curse. I have to check the mail today, I have a good feeling it's there for me, yay! My best friend sent me the multi-chain necklace. It's awesome, I can know or just let hang, it's a great conversation piece and compliments my earrings perfectly. I just received the Overnight Socialite and can't wait to read it. I definitely need to save it for my holiday travels back home. In the meantime I'm going to rent My Fair Lady and get familiar with the cult classic.

WHAT A DAY.

Last night I went out with my work colleague, Kat from sweetspot.ca. If you haven't heard of sweetspot, it's a great website for women. Kat took me out for Caesars and Lobster dip. After a few, we got a little cocky and decided to go elsewhere for another drink.. Well, when I'm with great company, it's always a good time. My head sure hurt today let me tell you. Oh well, Happy Holidays!


These last couple weeks I have organized and executed a charity clothing drive at work, Bags for Mags! When people donated, their name went in to a draw for a chance to win a year magazine subscription. Our company is affiliated with a great charity called, Dress for Success. They help people prepare for the work force who don't have the same resources everyone else does. We had collected over 500 pieces of clothing! I took it all up this evening and everyone was so thankful we had so much to offer. It was great to meet everyone, and see the boutique, I definitely want to start volunteering there.

I STOLE THESE FROM A BOY AT WORK

This evening I was working late and took these magazines out of a co-workers mailbox. A nice, but quiet guy at who has taken a leave of absence. I deserve them for all of my hard work and overtime, and his team can get more copies... Right? Right.

ONE OF THE BEST FASHION EVENTS THIS YEAR!

Elle Canada and H&M's Jimmy Choo event in Toronto was amazing. A store full of chatty girls and wine spritzers. I remembered they were filming the event and I found the coverage!
I was laughing because I saw a few shots of moi :D Enjoy.

These oxfords keep staring at me every time I go to Aldo. Hopefully I can score them on sale in thew new year. This set started with the oxfords. I also want to see Paris. 2010?

HOLIDAY GLAM '09

Friday night my work girlfriends and I had our own little holiday shindig. It was lovely, we all glammed up, drank bottles of wine, and danced our brains out. I didn't get home until 6 in the morning. I have wonderful friends.

FOR THE LOVE OF FLOWERS - I WON!!!

I found out on Friday I won a necklace from Elizaveta aka Kameleon! It's made my month. I love presents and I love designer jewelry that I feel like a kid again. I hope I get the chance to pick this necklace. I have so many outfits it will look good with. weeeeeeeeee!

Just received my January FLARE! I was so happy to see redhead Rachelle Lefevre on the cover.
I haven't seen a sexy redhead grace a Canadian magazine cover since LouLou's April ('09) issue.

HOT OFF THE PRESS: THE OVERNIGHT SOCIALITE

I read a small description about this book, the Overnight Socialite in December's VOGUE. It sounds like a fun read, it's a modern version of My Fair Lady, and it's so well written it's already being discussed for a movie!
From what dates I can find I'm hoping to purchase it on December 16th.. Seems like the perfect read for holiday flying.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS RODARTE!

Rodarte's capsule collection for "Target darling," drops on December 20th! The closet one to me is a 3 hour drive, and I don't have a car.
I'm attending a FLARE event tomorrow night at the GAP. It's Fall Trends chat slash, shopping party. I'm going to 'pop' in and check it out, I enjoy GAP fashions. I forgot Rodarte released a capsule collection with GAP in 2007, definitely a great conversation filler.. And maybe I will ralley a car full of ladies. hmm.

VOGUE HOLIDAY ISSUE, CAN'T WAIT TO READ THEIR GIFT GUIDE..

As I wondered around Shoppers Drug Mart yesterday picking up some of my favourite supplies; mascara, nail polish remover, and conditioner, I decided to treat myself to a magazine too. In a week January mag's will be hitting newsstands, but I didn't care - why can't I pick up a December VOGUE in December??

I bought 3 necklaces today at H&M. Each from the same display but layered together look more collected and personal.

IT'S LOVE

I made this set today inspired by the vision of wearing unique jewelry with simple, chic clothing. I used the H&M bag below because it was love at first sight. Right now I'm completely in love with the hobo style bag, this one had 2 great handles, great closure detail, and the medium camel color in leather is exactly what I'm looking for. I was out shopping today and found the bag at my local H&M. I didn't buy it there on the spot, even though I could have. It's good to know that I did really like it, because after I got home I was definitely kicking myself..

I keep forgetting to post these fun pictures from our industry Halloween party. The Halloween party's theme was Prom, so my friends and I decided to go as Prom Queens (aka. wear your favorite new dress and add a tiara from the dollar store). We danced all night and took a lot of pictures. We had a blast.
