Another amazing art exhibit in Toronto coming to a close this week was at Magic Pony. Toronto artist, Julie Moon held an exhibit appropriately called, Pretty Strange. I couldn't be happier and more envious of all her pieces that sold, there were a handful I wanted.. Ecstatic to walk away with meeting the sculptures in person and snapping these awesome mobile pics.

MAGIC PONY PRESENTS: A PRETTY STRANGE EXHIBIT.
OBSESSED WITH ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISTS
This past Sunday my amazing fiance and I went to the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO). The Abstract Expressionist exhibit is coming to a close and although we went once before, we HAD to go again. I could just stare at the pieces on display for hours. After we were done walking through the exhibit and enjoyed tea in the members lounge, I wanted to walk through it again!
Jackson Pollock art within/above exhibit poster. I'm LOVING my arm candy... My pop-art, Warhol inspired black heart bracelet is Pandora, I received it as a gift from Pandora and ELLE at ELLE's 10 year anniversary party. The hand-carved skull with pink lace bracelet is by Vanities, I bought it from the most hyped store in Paris, Colette. Last but definitely not least, seen in the middle is my new Jackson Pollock bracelet my man bought for me at the Abstract Expressionist gift shop.

September issue month! First September 2012 magazine I bough was InStyle. Not typically my first pick but it was exploding with pages of Fall fashion magic. YSL ad on the back of the issue. An outfit I would love to have this Fall..

MY ENGAGEMENT RING
My boyfriend is so amazing he decided months before proposing he would give me a temporary ring so I could pick out exactly what I wanted, without ruining the surprise proposal. When we got back to Toronto we immediately started looking. First stop was Birks. Nathan mentioned the evening he proposed that he had browsed at Birks, but didn't know what style I would love forever. We went to Birks and a nice Salesperson taught us about diamonds. With knowledge gained I searched for my perfect style. After a week of looking, I knew this was one was for me.
