Jil Sanders Spring 2011 collection was a huge success. With the abundance of designers out there I find it so interesting to see who's collection raises high levels of buzz, and Jil Sanders Spring 2011 collection was one of them. The style of clothes and colour-blocking trend were a hit. These are just a few outfits I would buy in a heart beat if the bank account allowed for it :) Dream big!

IMPULSE - MATTHEW WILLIAMSON FOR MACY'S
Oh Spring I love it when you feel close by. April is days away and not only is there H&M's sustainable collection hitting store April 14th, Matthew Williamson is putting out a line for Macy's called, Impulse. If this collection is available online, and Macy's ships to Canada, then maybe I would snap these two tops up in a heart beat. RAWR!

H+M SPRING 2011 FASHION CONSCIOUS COLLECTION
It's that time of year again :) It's the second year in a row and now an annual long term commitment, H&M producing their Spring Fashion Conscious collection!!! I want the maxi skirt and a few tops from this collection. Now that I don't work above the flagship (H&M Toronto) store I hope there is still pieces left after work...
GOSSIP
In the spirit of music and stellar production, I post this awesome music video (and song of course), Live Long Distance by Gossip. I have only recently started listening to Gossip. Last fall 2010 I was watching Fashion Television and they featured emerging style icon, Beth Ditto. After seeing the interview and clips of Beth performing and the music Gossip created I became a fan.

JUNO AWARDS 2011: 40 YEARS OF CELEBRATING THE ENTIRE CANADIAN MUSIC INDUSTY
I was so happy the JUNO Awards were in Toronto this year. I haven't been to the JUNO's since Edmonton in 2005, my boyfriend and I lived in Edmonton at the time too :) Action packed weekend, and a very expensive ticket to be bought when this awards show is in a city near you, but to see soo many bands perform live and the production involved, I think it's worth every penny. Support Canadian Music ox.

WHAT I WORE TO THE 2011 JUNO AWARDS
I attended the annual JUNO Awards with my boyfriend this evening, and here was my outfit for the evening. Classy yet Casual, Rock N' Roll relaxed chic. I wore my Lanvin loves H&M blazer (LOVE this blazer!!!), with my Rachel Rachel Roy tank top, and new Mavi jeans I was given last night. Ya, Mavi jeans were handing out jeans to the guests at The Masonic Temple party last night. They looked great with my grounded outfit.
LAST NIGHT'S LOOK FOR THE MASONIC TEMPLE
Juno weekend, Saturday night, my oh my :) I wore my favourite dress I bought around this time last year from H&M's Fashion Against Aids collection. I had it drycleaned, didn't unveil it until I was about to put it on and notice a few hooks from this front were gone! The dress was broken at the 11th hour.. I remained composed and quickly (and still a little frantic) found a needle and thread, and gently sewed the front closed where the hooks were suppose to hold. Whew..
Golden brow shadow with lots of mascara and added lipgloss throughout the night. I painted my nails with You Don't Know Jacques! by OPI.
At The Masonic Temple celebrating a legend in the Canadian Music Industry. Picture with my first Toronto girlfriend and still close friends after 6 years. The amazing couple in the second photo with my boyfriend and I are a couple I met in Edmonton when I was living there 8-9 years ago. They are the most amazing, good hearted people who are just so cool and personable.
