KATE MIDDLETON ROYAL WEDDING DRESS DESIGNED BY SARAH BURTON

Today was the big day! When my alarm went off (at 6:45am) my boyfriend and I turned the bedroom TV on and caught the end of the Royal Wedding ceremony, at Westminster Abbey. I was so excited to catch the announcement of William and Kate's name; Duke and Duchesses of Cambridge. I watched/listened to the carriage ride to Buckingham Palace, and paid attention to the Royal Family (Buckingham) Balcony Appearance and the newlyweds first kiss. Actually, kisses, apparently the first time I royal couple has kissed "pecked" twice. This post is dedicated to the Duchesses of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) and her fabulous choice in a wedding dress and designer. She knows what she's doing...

Designer Sarah Burton who assisted Alexander McQueen for 13 years, and recently became Creative Director for Dior after Alexander McQueen took his life. Sad story but inspiring women.

PRINCE WILLIAM AND KATE MIDDLETON WED TOMORROW :D

8am London time, 3am Toronto time Prince William and Kate Middleton are getting married. It was this past Tuesday night 11:40pm when it REALLY hit me, the fantasy of it all.. Take a second and really think about what it would be like to be marrying into a Royal Family. Google, Wikipedia about the Royal Family and let yourself falling in love with the man your with but HE's ROYALTY :) Dreamy... right? Let it soak in and have fun with it I say. This is an epic Royal Wedding event and I'm going to watch it tomorrow night in my pj's, with popcorn and enjoy.

WHAT I WORE TODAY: EASTER SUNDAY, NEW YORK MEMORIES...

Sunday, Sunday, pardon the tired eyes I was just waking up when I took these pictures.
Today I layered in a lot of pieces I bought last summer in NYC. The floral abstract tank and grey casual resort top I found at Forever 21 on 5th Ave. The pretzel necklace I bought in SOHO at great street vendors table, I specifically wanted the pretzel charm to remind me of all my great times in New York City.





Wore my leather jacket when we went out for breakfast but, the weather is getting warm enough to wear my new utility jacket soon :)

SATURDAY NIGHT, EASTER MORNING

Saturday night my boyfriend and I went out to see our friends/Canadian band, Wide Mouth Mason perform. Show was great, but breakfast together the next morning was quite nice too :)

HAPPY EASTER LOVE FROM VOGUE AND THE FASHION P.A. !!!

I love Easter time. I always enjoyed the abundance of chocolate and painting Easter eggs for decoration. I haven't painted eggs with my niece and nephew for years.. Since I lived in Edmonton, I drove back to Saskatchewan to spend the long weekend with my family. Today I saw Vogue post a link to these unbelievably chic and unique Easter eggs. Aren't they divine? This has inspired my to throw a girl's night next year around this time to drink wine and decorate eggs :)

Canadian department store The Bay is currently hosting an exhibition called, "When Tommy Met Anna." They hosted style icon/editor at large, Anna Dello Ruso and photographer/street style photographer, Tommy Ton. Yesterday the duo spent the day and night with our Canadian Press and socialites. Today they spent time at the store signing autographs. The autograph session was during my work hours so I wasn't available to wait in line and meet them, but if I was available I would have waited...

BEAUTY TREATS ARE SOO SWEET!!!

I stocked up on skin and beauty care this weekend. I should know better than going to Shoppers Drug Mart after payday when it's raining... Most of these items were on my list, but I discovered an interesting new skincare brand, Soap & Glory. They were reasonably priced and it was a perfect time to pick up a sassy new Body Wash, and I also picked up a Glow Body Lotion. I also thought the packaging and expression was sassy, chic, and radiant...

I bought this top because of the cut, colours, and lightweight fabric that would work for both work and play. I also bought it because the colours and stripes reminded me of a top my mom had (I saw in photos) when she was raising me. When I saw the shirt that memory immediately came to mind, I smiled, then I paid :)

CO-OWNER OF A NEW IPAD 2!!!

My boyfriend and I bought the new iPad 2 on Friday. We are both in love with the tablet's applications and features. I signed up for a years subscription for ELLE US :) I think the online version is a little differ than the copy, but we will see. For $20 and amazing resolution, it will help my pocketbook and saving space in our house. Do you have an iPad or iPhone? What are your favourite app's? I already have soo many.. I will definitely be posting about my favourites :)
